What goods were brought to China in the 19th century.

Until the beginning of the 19th century, most European goods entered China along the Great Silk Road, that is, through Central Asia.

The Chinese needed little import, but nevertheless they imported horses from Central Asia, military equipment, garments, fat-tailed sheep, hunting dogs, lions and leopards, watermelons, Persian carpets, cotton fabrics, glass items and semi-precious stones, gold and silver products.
