What groups are animals divided into according to their dietary habits.

Animals are divided into 4 main food groups:
1. Insectivores – ie. those that eat insects. These include many birds and reptiles. For example cuckoo, toad, mole, shrew.

2. Carnivores are those that eat other animals. For example a lion, jaguar, jackal.

3. Omnivores – they eat everything. And roots and mushrooms, and berries and other animals. The most formidable representative is Bear. And also a pig.
