What happens because we pollute water bodies?

In the course of his activities, a person damages the environment, including water bodies, polluting them in various ways: by the release of harmful chemicals, waste products, a thermal factor during the operation of state district power plants and hydroelectric power plants. The results of this pollution of the hydrosphere can be catastrophic:

– death of the inhabitants of reservoirs;

– as a result of thermal pollution, water bodies “bloom”, that is, uncontrolled reproduction of small algae, which makes the water unsuitable for human and animal consumption, as well as unsuitable for other inhabitants of the reservoir;

– poisoning of a person as a result of drinking water or inhabitants of reservoirs.
