What happens in cells during interphase?

Interphase is a period in the life cycle of a cell when metabolism is actively occurring in it, that is, it performs its functions:

Presynthetic period: the number of organelles increases in the cell, all types of RNA are synthesized in the nucleus and ribosomes are collected. The cell grows intensively.
Synthetic period: DNA replication takes place.
Postsynthetic period: active synthesis of ATP occurs, the cell prepares for division, the cell center doubles.

Interphase takes 90% of the entire cell life cycle.
