What happens later in the frog: paws grow or tail dissolves?

The frog’s tail dissolves after the legs appear. If the developmental process of an individual proceeds normally, then in the case of a frog, the tail resorption will become the last stage of transformations in the formation of an adult frog from an egg. There are seven stages in total: 1) eggs 2) larvae-tadpoles hatching from the eggs 3) the appearance of the sucker and external gills 4) the disappearance of the external gills 5) the appearance of the hind legs 6) the appearance of the front legs 7) emergence on land, replacement of gill respiration with pulmonary and only after – the death of the tail.
