What harm do trees, polypores do?

Many underestimate the negative impact of the tinder fungus on the tree, ultimately the harm that these fungi cause can lead to wilting and death of the tree. Infection with these fungi occurs through wounds on the tree, into which the spore of the fungus penetrates, after which a micelle is formed, which destroys the structure and integrity of the tree. In trees affected by these fungi, the number of shoots and productivity decreases, the branches of such trees become brittle and fall off, more and more wounds form in the tree and it dies.
