What if people were cold-blooded?

The question is really interesting. After all, the history of our civilization would have developed quite differently. It is impossible to give an exact answer to this question. There are only a lot of hypotheses and theories. The most likely course of events would be the following: humanity would have lived for a very long time on the territory of Africa and other countries of the subtropics. Occasionally people went hunting in the nearby lands, and then in the warm season. Humanity could only explore territories that are in the tropical and temperate zones. This would have continued until the invention of heated clothing, thermal underwear, portable devices for keeping warm. Fire and fur items would not have been enough in the harsh conditions of the north. Considering the fact that almost all the benefits of technology have arisen in the last couple of centuries, then if a person were cold-blooded, then now our civilization would be at the level of development of the Middle Ages. There is also an option when a person would learn to go into hibernation or suspended animation. We would have had to spend more time in the hot sun. Let’s say that some people would be warm-blooded, while others would be cold-blooded. Then the cold-blooded inhabitants would be in slavery or would have died long ago, because warm-blooded people would have an advantage. What is it? While the cold-blooded part of humanity is in hibernation, the warm-blooded part develops, grows, explores new horizons, invents weapons. As a consequence, warm-blooded ones could enslave or destroy cold-blooded ones during hibernation.
