What indicators determine the change in population size?

| Among the indicators of population change (natural movement of the population) include some absolute and relative indicators.
The most significant absolute figures are as follows:
1. The number of people born in a specific period.
2. The number of people who died in a specific period.
3. Natural population growth.
Natural increase is equal to the difference between the number of births and the number of deaths during the period. This is not necessarily a positive number – if the number of deaths exceeds the number of births, then they speak of a decline in the population.
