What indicators determine the change in population size?

Among the indicators of population change (natural movement of the population) include some absolute and relative indicators.
The most significant absolute figures are as follows:
1. The number of people born in a specific period.
2. The number of people who died in a specific period.
3. Natural population growth.
Natural increase is equal to the difference between the number of births and the number of deaths during the period. This is not necessarily a positive number – if the number of deaths exceeds the number of births, then they speak of a decline in the population.
