What influence did the Great Migration of Nations have on the development of the Slavic tribes?

The Great Migration had a more negative impact on the development of the Slavs. Numerous tribes migrated across the Black Sea region towards the west of the European continent. They naturally experienced the resistance of the Slavic tribes inhabiting these lands. Nomads, to get food, and just for predatory purposes, attacked the settlements and ravaged the lands of the Slavs, causing bloody clashes. There was no question of any kind of cultural exchange or other exchange of experience and achievements – the nomads were inferior in development to the Slavs.
