What is a flower and what is its significance for angiosperms?

A flower is a reproductive organ in higher angiosperms. It is an aromorphosis – a dramatic important change in the life of terrestrial plants. The flower is a complex complex of different organs. Depending on the dominess of the plant, it may have a pistil, stamens, or both. Forms spores and gametes (sex cells), participate in plant reproduction. The shape and color of the flower is determined by the type of pollination – most often bright and attractive flowers are found in insect pollinated plants, and large pistils and a large number of stamens are in wind-pollinated plants. After a special double fertilization inherent only in angiosperms, a fruit with seeds is formed from a flower. The flower is necessary for plants for reproduction and settlement.
