What is a leaf? In which leaf cells does photosynthesis take place?

The leaf is a flat green process from the trunk in the form of vascular formations. Photosynthesis takes place inside plant cells in chloroplasts. Chloroplasts (mostly found in the mesophyll layer) contain a green substance called chlorophyll. This tissue is called mesophyll, which means “middle leaf,” and occurs in two flavors: palisade melanophil (sometimes called palisade parenimum) and spongy mesophyll. Most photosynthesis occurs in the mesophyll with a palisade, which is conveniently located at the top of the leaf under the epidermis.
