What is an eyepiece on a microscope for?

A microscope is a magnifying instrument used for laboratory research.
All its parts are mounted on a metal base – a tripod. This is the stage where the research object is placed; a mirror directing a beam of light into the opening of the stage; screws that help focus. But the main parts are magnifying glasses placed in a tube – a tube. At the bottom of the tube, a lens is attached (it is directed at the object of observation), and on top – the eyepiece (we look into it).
