What is at the front end of the white planarian’s body?

The white planaria is a representative of the Flatworm type and the Ciliated worm class. Representatives of this type are the first animals with bilateral body symmetry, which is associated with their active lifestyle. The white planaria is a nocturnal predator that lives in fresh water. Its prey is small freshwater crustaceans, which it finds with the help of the senses located not in the front of the body:

– two small tentacles that are organs of touch.
