What is common and different between algae and higher spore plants?

There are few similarities between algae and higher spore plants. They differ in that higher spore plants have different tissues and the body is divided into vegetative organs such as leaves, stem, roots, etc. At the same time, in algae, the entire body is formed without vegetative division, all their cells and tissues are the same, since they have a common structure and always perform the same functions.
