What is common in the policies of the Bolsheviks in Russia and the Communists in Hungary?

Due to their socialist orientation and also because of the difficult situation in connection with the intervention and reactionary uprisings, both regimes were inclined towards centralization. A new army was created, centralized planning of the economy was carried out, power passed into the hands of committees consisting of military and revolutionaries. All resources were devoted to ensuring victory. Also, in both states, repressions were carried out against the enemies of the revolution (although the scale of these in Hungary was insignificant).
