What is democracy in terms of history?

From the point of view of history, this is the rule of the people. The very birth of democracy took place in ancient Greece, namely in Athens. Then in 594 BC Solon came to power. His activities and reforms led to the emergence of a new form of government – democracy. Now all free citizens could take part in governing the state. Thus, he can be called the ancestor or father of democracy.
One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
