What is fungus root? Give examples of poisonous lamellar mushrooms.

“Fungus root” is a special form of symbiosis of cap fungi and trees: the filaments of mycelium grow into the roots of trees in the zone of conduction, where there are no root hairs, and perform their function. That is, they absorb water. And, in return, the fungus receives organic substances from the plant that it cannot synthesize itself. This symbiosis is called mycorrhiza.

Among the cap mushrooms, the underside of the cap of which consists of plates, there are many poisonous mushrooms, for example: fly agarics, pale toadstool, false mushrooms and chanterelles.
