What is grown in Mongolia?

Mongolia has a rather harsh climate, with frosty winters (air temperatures drop to thirty-five degrees), and hot dry summers, with high temperatures up to forty degrees Celsius. There is little precipitation. Due to these conditions, crop production is developing poorly. However, it is possible to obtain crops such as potatoes, tomatoes, watermelons. There are plantations of wheat, barley, oats. Since animal husbandry develops better in the country, many fodder crops and silage are grown.
