What is included in the musculoskeletal system?

The musculoskeletal system is necessary for making active movements and maintaining the body in space. In humans, the musculoskeletal system belongs to it. Bones serve as support for the body and internal organs. With the help of them, a person can stand firmly on his feet. Muscles are needed to set bones in motion. With the help of muscle contraction, the position of the bones relative to each other changes and movements are performed. The innervation of the muscles is carried out by the nervous system, which, with the help of impulses, sends signals to the muscles, but it does not belong to the musculoskeletal system.
