What is meant by the universality of biopolymer molecules?

Biopolymers are organic substances with large molecular weights and made up of repeating units called monomers. The main biopolymers in nature are polysaccharides, proteins and nucleic acids. Their universality lies in the fact that all living organisms have the same substances as monomers:
– protein monomers – amino acids (20 varieties);
– monomers of polysaccharides – monosaccharides glucose or fructose;
– nucleic acid monomers – nucleotides (5 types).
