What is oil rectification and distillation?

Distillation, or rectification of oil, is a complex process of its processing, which is carried out at oil refineries. The process itself consists in heating oil at high temperatures and pressures to separate it into fractions. At the same time, such products as: gasoline, diesel fuel, naphtha are obtained, and in the remainder – a viscous black liquid – fuel oil. It can be further processed under less pressure. And the output is petroleum jelly and paraffin.
