What is plant tissue? What are conductive and mechanical fabrics for ferns?

Plant tissues are seals of specialized cells that have evolved to perform specific functions. For example, conductive tissues are fragile and have cavities inside. They act as a kind of “pipes” inside the plant, i.e. through them, water and nutrients flow from the root system to the rest of the plant. Mechanical tissues are formed from cells with thicker membranes. There are fewer pores inside such tissues, the cells are pressed together more tightly and give the plant elasticity. It is these functions that they perform in ferns.
