What is positive and negative about colonialism?

Positive features of colonialism:

1) Development of trade and world relations;

2) Land development;

3) Dissemination of cultural ties;

4) Access to natural resources.

Negative features of colonialism:

1) Wars with the local population;

2) The death of the local population;

3) World rivalry for the possession of the colonies led to wars between the countries of Europe.
