What is science, what are its main functions?

Science is a field of human activity aimed at developing and systematizing objective knowledge about reality.
Functions of science:
1) Cognitive (knowledge of nature, man and society as a whole)
2) World outlook (fills a person’s worldview about the world around him)
3) Production (science is the basis for the improvement and modernization of production)
4) Social (this is, for example, a person studies science and develops socially)
5) Cultural (I cannot explain this function).
And that’s all, there are 5 main functions of science.
