What is symbiosis? What organisms form a lichen?

In this life on our planet, there is a mutually beneficial relationship everywhere. And, not only in nature. For example, we all work and receive a salary from this, and someone benefits from our work. It is beneficial for everyone. In nature, this action is called symbiosis. The action lies in the fact that living beings live side by side with each other and for each other. These creatures are different – not of the same species. So in this case – algae and mushroom. This is the same lichen. The alga in this collaboration feeds the fungus with photosynthesis, and the fungus supplies the alga with water and minerals.
