What is the advantage of seed plants over spore plants?

Seed-propagating plants are better adapted to life on land than spore-propagating plants. Fertilization in seed plants does not depend on the presence of water in the external environment. Seeds (multicellular formations) have a much larger supply of nutrients than spores (they are unicellular). Embryo: the future plant inside the seed is better protected from adverse conditions.
