What is the area of North America?

North America is the third largest continent on the planet and is inferior to Eurasia and Africa. Excluding the area of the islands, the territory of this continent covers 20 million 360 thousand kilometers, and with the islands – 24 million 25 thousand square kilometers. The main part of the continent is occupied by three countries:
Canada (the second largest country in the world, second only to Russia).
USA (4th largest country in the world).
Mexico.
Most of the continent’s population speaks English and Spanish.
