What is the Bay of Fundy known for in the world?

The Bay of Fundy is located on the Atlantic coast, it washes Canada and a small part of the United States. The bay is known for its record high tides. During high tide, the water level can easily rise to a height of 18 meters. The reason for this strange phenomenon is the special shape of the bay. Every day here you can observe the full cycle of ebb and flow, during which more than one hundred billion tons of water moves. The record water level is 20.6 meters, it was recorded during the cyclone Saxby Gale in 1869.
