What is the biological role of the seed in the life of a flowering plant?

The seeds are formed shortly after pollination of the flowers. They can be either protected by a fetus or be without a fetus. It depends on the type of plant. Seeds play an important role. It is from the seeds that new plants will germinate. Seeds can be carried long distances by the wind. If the seeds are inside the fruit, they will be carried by the animals when they eat the fruit. The shell will protect the germ of the plant from the gastric juice of animals and after a while the seeds will leave the body naturally far from the plant.
