What is the body shell of mushrooms?

The basis of the vegetative body of most fungi is the mycelium or mycelium. The mycelium consists of branching filaments – hyphae. There are two types of mycelium:
* non-cellular or non-septic, that is, it does not have cell walls and is, as it were, one multinucleated cell.
* cellular or septate, that is, divided by septa into cells. The mushroom cell is covered with a solid cell wall, which contains a carbohydrate – chitin. There are all organelles characteristic of a eukaryotic cell. There are also vacuoles with a reserve nutrient – glycogen.
