In the 4th century AD, they were able to reach the lands of eastern Europe. Their appearance provoked the movement of the Germanic tribes to the west. Thus, practically all of Europe was set in motion. The peak of this event falls on the 5th century. Then even the powerful Roman Empire could not cope with such dramatic changes and collapsed.
