What is the condition of the heart valves during the contraction of the ventricles?

The cardiac cycle consists of three phases: 1 atrial contraction, ventricular contraction and general pause. On the border between the ventricles and the atria are the leaflet valves, on the border of the ventricles and blood vessels – semilunar valves. During atrial contraction, the leaflet valves open; then blood from the atria enters the ventricles, the leaflet valves close so that blood does not flow in the opposite direction. The ventricles contract, the semilunar valves open. Then there is a general pause. The butterfly valves open, the semilunar valves close.
