What is the connection between the beginning of the formation of the colonial system and the revolution?

The first revolution in world history took place in the Netherlands in 1576. Just shortly (a couple of generations) after the appearance of the first large colonies in the Spanish crown, which then ruled the modern Netherlands and Belgium (King Philip II). The influx of gold from South and Central America led to the rapid development of cities and the bourgeoisie in the Netherlands and to the first bourgeois revolution, which lasted until the peace treaty between Protestants and Catholics in 1648.
Similarly, the beginning of England’s colonial expansion coincided with the revolution of the 1640s, which, in turn, led to the strengthening of the country on the seas (the navigational act of 1651), and 130 years later, one of the most developed colonies seceded and the independent United States of America emerged.
