What is the contradiction between Rutherford’s planetary model of atoms?

Rutherford’s model of the atom (aka planetary model) is that electrons revolve around a positively charged nucleus. However, based on classical mechanics, a body moving in a circle moves with constant acceleration, therefore, it must emit energy, which does not actually happen. This contradiction was overcome in Bohr’s model.
