What is the difference between a pine cone and a pine cone?

The spruce cone differs from the pine cone in shape. In pine, they are egg-shaped or slightly oblong, and in spruce, they are elongated and pointed. The thickness of the scales is also different for them – in pine it is denser, at first inseparable (only by the time of ripening they begin to diverge and the seeds become visible). In spruce cones, the scales are also tightly closed, but the seeds are not visible – they are located a little deeper in the sinuses.
