What is the difference between ancient Greek theater and modern theater?

Ancient Greece was a culturally developed country in every sense, it even had theaters, but despite this, that ancient Greek theater was very different from the modern one. The first distinctive feature of the Greek theater was that only men played there. Also, the theater building itself was very different from the modern one, the Greek theater was built without a roof, it also had no wings. The next difference was that in the theaters of antiquity only tragedy was played, and the emotions of the heroes were conveyed through the use of masks.
