What is the difference between chernozem and other soils?

Chernozem differs from other soils in that d) contains a lot of humus. The more the soil contains humus, the more fertile it is, therefore black soil is the most fertile soil.
It should be noted that chernozem is significantly different from other species. As already mentioned above, this type is characterized by the balance of all elements, while manure or humus related to organic fertilizers has a high concentration of nutrients.
Peat is quite similar to chernozem. But the difference is that the formation of this type occurs under the influence of other climatic conditions.
To immediately understand that there is black soil in front of you, you need to pay attention to the following features:
* the soil is black;
* if you hold a small lump of earth in your hand, a small greasy mark remains;
* if you mix black earth with water, it will resemble clay.
It is worth noting that, unlike other species, this black soil is capable of retaining moisture for a long time.
And another distinctive feature of chernozem is the presence of a coarse-grained structure.
