What is the difference between early modern times and modern times?

In the early New Time, remnants of the feudal era were preserved to one degree or another in many countries. They were in the government, and in relation to the church, and in the economy, and in the division of society into estates. It was like a transitional period. Actually, the New Time has already outlived all the remnants of the past. If somewhere they stayed. they were perceived simply as a tradition or local exoticism (for example, as a monarchy in modern Great Britain).
