What is the difference between Eastern and European society?

European society was Christian. Christianity could be Western or Eastern, the division took place in the middle of the XI century. Major Christian states were: Byzantium, Rzeczpospolita, Russia, Spanish Empire and France.

Universities, factories, bourgeois revolutions, the first and second scientific revolutions, and printing appeared in European society. It was the Europeans who began the great geographical discoveries and connected all continents with trade routes. Parliaments, regular armies, and the first factories appeared in Europe.

Eastern societies were more diverse in terms of religions:

Christianity (Ethiopia).
Islam (Sunni and Shi’ism).
Paganism (Golden Horde).
Buddhism.
Hinduism.
Zoroastrianism.
Shinto in Japan.
They created huge empires, for example, the Mongol one, but did not develop as productively as the European ones.
