What is the difference between lymph composition and blood?

Lymph and blood are the main fluids in the body. Since they perform different functions and are found in different tissues, they differ greatly in composition. The main substance of blood is plasma, it contains various elements – erythrocytes, platelets, leukocytes and others. Plasma itself is 90% of water with protein compounds, glucose, hormones, vitamins and other inorganic substances dissolved in it. Lymph, on the other hand, consists of water by 96%, the rest is made up of waste products of the body, leukocytes and proteins. Lymph is not as viscous as blood, and due to its composition, it has less coagulability.
