What is the difference between monocular and binocular vision?

Binocular vision makes it possible to assess the distance to the object, the ability to clearly see with both eyes. This is typical for predators who use binocular vision for hunting, because they can clearly calculate the angle for attack and the distance to the victim. Monocular vision gives the advantage in the form of a viewing angle, it is much wider than with binocular, therefore it makes it possible to simultaneously see from different angles, but mainly with one eye. Also, the location of the eye sockets in binocular and monocular vision is significantly different.
