What is the difference between perennial, biennial and annual?

All plants can be divided into annuals, biennials and perennials. The difference between them lies in the life cycle of the plant and its length. Annual plants are plants whose life cycle takes place during one growing season, that is, in one season the plant germinates, blooms, multiplies and dies. Biennial – plants whose life cycle lasts for two seasons, and, in the first, flowering and reproduction do not occur. Perennials are plants that can live for several years, while going through stages of development and reproduction every year.
