What is the difference between saving a file and downloading a file? How are long-term memory and computer RAM used for this?

Saving a file is writing a file to the permanent memory of a computer: to a flash drive, hard disk, CD, floppy disk, etc. Loading a file is the opening of a file in a program when the file is read from the permanent memory of the computer. When a file is saved, the data is transferred from the RAM to a long-term constant by the processor’s command. When opened, the process is reversed: files are read from the long-term memory into RAM, and then transferred to the central processor.
