What is the difference between social status and social role? Are there any differences at all?

Social status can be determined in such criteria as:
1) Gender
2) Age
3) Marital status.
And so on.
Social status can assign certain rights and obligations to people.
Now, let’s move on to the social role.
A social role is a model of behavior that is based on social status.
It can be basic and situational.
Let’s say situational, it is a pedestrian or a customer in a store.
Primary: consumer or citizen.
Based on everything that I have said above, we can conclude that these two terms follow from each other.

One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
