What is the difference between the movement of plants and the movement of animals?

Unlike animals, plants are not inherent in active movement. What is considered to be the movement of plants is actually its growth. Animals can travel great distances, moving in any direction, while the plant is limited by its place of growth and changes position only by moving closer to the sun. An exception is the Venus flytrap, which can move its traps due to the contraction of the walls.
