What is the difference between the natural conditions of Egypt and Mesopotamia?

The differences between Egypt and Mesopotamia are that the Nile was the only source of water for the Egyptians, so they could only adapt the coastal zones for cultivation. Moreover, even these lands were moistened only during the season of annual floods. In Mesopotamia there were two rivers, between which there were more fertile soils.
The difference in culture consisted in the fact that in Mesopotamia, cuneiform was used, and in Egypt – ideographic, and then logographic writing (individual images symbolized a specific word or concept).
