What is the difference between the relief of Africa and Australia?

Australia is the only mainland that is completely free of earthquakes and volcanism. Therefore, only exogenous (wind, water) processes played a role in the formation of the relief of Africa. They formed special forms of relief – round timber (for example, Ayers Rock). The only mountainous landform in Australia is the Great Dividing Range. In Africa, only the eastern part is mountainous. This is due to the high degree of volcanism and the Rift Valley.
