What is the difference between the revolutionary and reformist factions?

The main difference between revolutionaries and reformers lies in their attitude to political change in society. The former believe that the government must be overthrown by force, through a coup. The latter, however, are supporters of a less radical approach and speak of the need for reforms – changes at the legislative level. Thus, the revolutionaries support the idea of fundamental changes in the life of the state, and the reformers prefer to keep the previous system for some time, changing it from within.
