What is the essence of Solon’s reforms in Athens? When did they happen?

These reforms took place in 594/593 BC. So Solon’s reforms were: the abolition of debt slavery, forgiveness of debts, a ban on the sale of grain, equalization in the rights of the nobility and ordinary citizens, the creation of state bodies, etc. All these reforms became the reason that the birth of democracy took place in ancient Athens. Thus, we can say that Solon is the father of democracy. After him, democratic ideas were developed by Pericles.
