What is the flora of the desert?

One of the largest continents on which deserts occupy most of it is Africa. The largest area of tropical deserts is in North Africa. The vegetation of the deserts is extremely scarce, and in some places, especially in the central part, it is absent at all. Rich vegetation develops only in oases. One of the most interesting desert plants is Velvichia. During its life, its leaves grow continuously, dying off at the ends. Wild watermelons, milkweed, aloe, saxaul, camel thorns and many other interesting plants are also characteristic.
